Greek details are now the decided minority and in this square example are to be found largely in the overhanging lintel of the door frame and the entablature with its dental mouldings. Also left are Revival details of twelve paned windows and typical rear wing.
Otherwise, the features here are ones that have recently grown familiar- spindly square porch columns with bracketed cornice, flat roof and pedimented door frame.
Particular notice should be made however, of the octagonal medallions ornamenting the lower part of the front door. These have a peculiar Greek feeling and close kinship to the Octagon house but are, of course, a far cry from classic rosettes.
