Incorporated with brackets of the Weighlock building, Gothic arches, and massive unwieldiness, Revival details have been almost cynically introduced here, with little thought for classic proportions or any former glory. Persistent to the end is the pediment, to be seen both in large roof size and smaller window proportions. The large pediment is complete even to a semicircular window, but little else remains. Even the window pediments are bracketed.
The cupola is, of course, most important but other than its octagonal form and the moulding of its base and cap, fails to reveal a single Greek or Greek Revival feature. The two story porch is probably later and should be disregarded.
By surprisingly easy and gradual transitions, the Greek Revival has now almost lost itself in the maze of Gothicism.
