Twenty-six Animals by Jane Tam
Art Photography, Junior

This animal alphabet accordion book contains 26 composites
of the animal and human form. Images were silk-screened onto cream BFK
rives paper and accompanied by the Helvetica font type.
This work was inspired by Thorsten
Dennerline's (MFA, 1997) Twenty-six
Words, which was created in collaboration with Peter Verheyen.

Alphabet book created collaboratively with Peter Verheyen.
Lithographs by Dennerline with bindings by Verheyen. Accordion structure
with leather-edged covers. Painted acrylic panels inlaid into cover. Edition
of 10 copies, each with a unique cover.
Jane Tam, originally from Brooklyn, N.Y., is a junior art
photography major in the College of Visual and Performing Arts, and developed
strong interests in printmaking while in her sophomore year. Her printmaking
work is mainly ironically focused on spontaneity, nostalgia, and humor.
