The traitors of the South still wield a traitor's sword,
While Northern sympathizers assist the rebels horde.

In the year of '61 commenced this bloody war,
That the wicked Southern traitors had threatened long before,
They seceded from the Union because they couldn't rule,
And a Democratic President became their supple tool.
