Biographical History

Jack E. Bronston (1922- ) was an American lawyer and politician. A Democrat, Bronston served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and was a member of New York state senate for nearly twenty years (1959-1978), representing three different districts (5th District, 1959-1965; 11th District, 1966; 12th District, 1967-1978).

Scope and Contents of the Collection

The Jack E. Bronston Collection consists of correspondence, memorabilia, and writings. Correspondence contains form letters to constituents. Memorabilia contains photographs. Writings contains position papers and reports by Bronston as well as one commissioned by him.
