Scope and Contents of the Collection

The collection consists of one item, a bill in the amount of $1,136 for the transfer of five enslaved persons, three male and 2 female, to Edward R. Pinckney. Signed by Joseph Johnson, president of the bank's office in Charleston, South Carolina.
