Biographical History

Pierre John Huss (1903-1966) was a journalist and author. During World War II he was chief International News Service (INS) correspondent in Berlin and is the author of Heil! And Farewell: The Foe We Face (1942).


Scope and Contents of the Collection

Historic Radiograms from Pierre Huss consists of a scrapbook containing radiograms about the American campaign in Sicily and Italy during World War II from war correspondent Pierre Huss, presented to Harry A. King for the purchase of war bonds during Press-Radio Day on 25 September 1943 in Syracuse, N.Y.
