Biographical History

Aaron Bohrod (1907-1992) was an American realist painter and a participant in the Federal Art Project and the U.S. Army War Unit's project on the pictorial history of World War II.


Scope and Contents of the Collection

The Harold Schatzberg Collection relating to Aaron Bohrod contains correspondence, clippings, exhibit notices, and other items relating to painter Aaron Bohrod. Clippings include the LIFE magazine cover featuring Bohrod, from April 30, 1945.
