Jr. and Robert; and two sisters, Mary Anne Lumley and Catherine Barry. Tom was predeceased by his father, who passed in August of 1988.

Tom was described as "an interior sort of man. There was a quietness, an inner calm and depth of being about him that enable him to be very responsive to people and supportive of them in their needs."
