Biography

Tom Foster is a general assignment reporter for the Syracuse, NY Post-Standard. His freelance work has been published in the New York Times and the Philadelphia Inquirer. Foster lives in Watertown, NY with his family.


Scope and Content Note

The Tom Foster Papers contain materials from his work on the book Their Darkest Day: The Tragedy of Pan Am 103 and Its Legacy of Hope, co-authored with Matthew Cox. These materials include mostly Research Files pertaining to Subjects and People and accompanied by the author's handwritten notes. Subject files relating to the Department of State, the Gander Crash in Newfoundland, the PFLP-GC, and the President's Commission on Aviation Security and Terrorism are also included. Other series include Chapter Notes, Clippings and Newspapers, and Photographs and Negatives
