Jane Gibson was a radiographer (x - ray technician) working at the Dumfries Royal Infirmary in 1988. Jane and her colleagues were called upon after the Pan Am 103 disaster to assist with postmortem exams on the victims. They worked for nearly three weeks outside the bounds of their normal duties. Jane was also a resident of Lockerbie, Scotland and lived with the tragedy daily.
The Jane Gibson Collection consists of three clippings. Each of the clippings is taken from a Scottish newspaper, and all relate to the tenth anniversary of the bombing and crash of Pan Am Flight 103.
