David J. Gould, born January 3, 1943, was an associate professor in the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs and director/founder of the International Management Development Institute (IMDI) at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. David received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Romance Languages and Literature from Harvard in 1965. He also earned a Juris Doctor degree in 1968, and a Ph.D. in Public Administration in 1971, both from New York University. David, who resided in Pittsburgh, was survived by his wife, Terri; his children, Deborah and Daniel; his parents, Sylvia and Haim Gould, of Caldwell, New Jersey; and his sister, Judith of Brooklyn, New York.
