Born August 10, 1958, Diane Marie Maslowski was raised in Haddonfield, New Jersey. After graduating from Skidmore College in 1980 with a double major in French and government, Diane moved to New York City to pursue her dream of becoming a professional ballet dancer. When and ankle injury forced her retirement from dance, Diane used her knowledge of language and proficiency in math to pursue a career in banking. By 1985 she was vice president of bond trading for the investment firm Drexel, Burnham-Lambert and was living in London, England. Diane was returning home to New Jersey to spend Christmas with her parents, Stan and Norma; and her siblings, Michael, Steven, and Susan.

A scholarship has been established in Diane's name at Skidmore College.
