Historical Note

Syracuse University's Division of International Programs Abroad (DIPA) was the department responsible for the administration of the university's study abroad programs in 1988. DIPA was at the forefront of the university's response to the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103, and the loss of 35 students that had been studying abroad in their London program.


The department has since changed its named to SU Abroad.
