Part of the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University, the Department of Political Science offers undergraduate and graduate courses in both domestic and international politics and government.
The Syracuse University Political Science Department Records spans from 1920 to 2006. The collection includes budgets, memoranda and correspondence, schedules, faculty personnel files, course descriptions, faculty meeting minutes and other administrative records. The collection also includes information about scholarships and fellowships, department and new student brochures, and other publications.
The collection is currently unprocessed and not available for research.
School, college and department records are restricted to the office of origin for 30 years. Faculty personnel files are restricted for 80 years from date of separation from the University.
Written permission must be obtained from the Syracuse University Archives and all relevant rights holders before publishing quotations, excerpts or images from any materials in this collection.
