Gertrude A. Shepherd graduated from the Liberal Arts College at Syracuse University in 1894. During her time at Syracuse University she was part of the Young Women's Christian Association, Calculus Poet, and the Alpha Phi sorority.
This collection consists of a scrapbook created by Gertrude A. Stein during her time at Syracuse University. The scrapbook contains many varied items such as newspaper clippings, tickets, programs, calendars, pictures, sketches, notes, napkins, dance cards, flowers, ribbons, booklets, and a candle. Materials in the scrapbook are dated from 1890 to 1895.
Please note that the collection is housed off-site, and advance notice is required to allow time to have the materials brought to the Reading Room on campus.

This scrapbook was separated from the Syracuse University Scrapbook Collection.
