Edward Albee (1928-2016) was an American playwright. Among his best-known works are the original play Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and stage adaptations of the novels Breakfast at Tiffany's by Truman Capote and Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov. Over the course of his career he received numerous awards and recognitions, including three Pulitzers and two Tony Awards.
The Edward Albee Collection consists of a small amount of printed material (clippings, Playbill magazines, etc.) relating to Albee and his work, particularly Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?. There is also one photograph from a performance of the play.
