Samuel Ernest Bilik (1890 or 1893-1972) was an American physician specializing in sports medicine. According to the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA), he "was one of the earliest medical doctors to devote his time to athletic injuries." He wrote the first edition of The Trainers Bible at age 21, and is in the NATA Hall of Fame.
The Samuel E. Bilik Typescript consists of a typescript of the 9th edition of Bilik's book The Trainers Bible, with the author's annotations and corrections for the 10th edition.
