Percy Aldridge Grainger (1882-1961) was an Australian and American composer and pianist. He immigrated to the United States in 1914. He was famous for both his folk music arrangement and his highly experimental compositions, including works for electronic instruments.
The Percy Grainger Letter is a handwritten note dated 19 May 1960. It was sent from White Plains, New York and addressed to Leander McCormick-Goodhart. In the letter, Grainger discusses a book by conductor Thomas Beecham.
