Nothing is known of Celestia Wilson other than the information contained in these letters. She evidently lived, or was living at the time of writing, in or near Syracuse, New York. The letters are addressed to Caroline Stewart, Summerhill, Cayuga County, New York.

The Celestia Wilson Correspondence consists of two letters from Wilson to her friend Caroline F. Stewart.
