Biography
Peter Giesecke lived at 72 Park Place in 1988. The home across from his, owned by Ella Ramsden, was destroyed when debris from Pan Am Flight 103 crashed at Rosebank Crescent. Peter's home and other surrounding structures were also damaged in the crash.
Scope and Content Note
The Peter Giesecke Papers consist of several photographs taken by Giesecke of the Rosebank Crescent crash site in the days following 21 December 1988. Digital versions of these images are also available and can be previewed in the following collection inventory.
