Isabel Dardet was a student at Syracuse University from 1985 to 1989. She majored in photography at the College of Visual and Performing Arts.
The Isabel Dardet Slides includes a set of 25 color slides taken by Dardet that depict a celebration on Marshall Street after Syracuse University won the 1987 Eastern Division of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. The students are filling the street, celebrating on top of the store roofs and down the road.
Please note that the collection is housed off-site, and advance notice is required to allow time to have the materials brought to the Reading Room on campus.
Written permission must be obtained from the Syracuse University Archives and all relevant rights holders before publishing quotations, excerpts or images from any materials in this collection.
Brief biographical information about the photographer can be found in the 1989 Onondagan, which can be found in the Syracuse University Yearbook Collection. The University Archives also holds the Syracuse University Men's Basketball Collection.
