Richard C. Graves (b. 1947) is a Syracuse University alumnus. He attended the University from 1965 to 1971, receiving his Bachelor of Science in 1969 and a Master of Arts in 1971. Both degrees were in drama. While a student, Graves was the photographer of record for the Department of Drama and Syracuse Repertory Theatre productions.
The Richard C. Graves Negatives contain photograph negatives of Syracuse University Department of Drama productions, including onstage, backstage, and rehearsal captures.
Please note that the collection is housed off-site, and advance notice is required to allow time to have the materials brought to the Reading Room on campus.
Written permission must be obtained from the Syracuse University Archives and all relevant rights holders before publishing quotations, excerpts or images from any materials in this collection.
The University Archives has clipping files for Syracuse University dramatic productions in the twentieth century, the School of Speech and Dramatic Arts, and the Department of Drama; these subjects also appear in the Syracuse University Photograph Collection. Additionally, the Archives holds the Boar's Head Collection, a student dramatic society, and the Gerald F. Reidenbaugh Papers, who was chair of the drama department from 1961 through 1971.
