Greenberg House was Syracuse University's academic, alumni, and student admissions and recruitment center in Washington, D.C. from 1988 to 2020. It was named after Paul Greenberg, an alumnus and life trustee of Syracuse University who helped build support for the purchase of the building and donated one million dollars to the endeavor. Greenberg House was sold in 2020 because it was not ADA accessible and could no longer provide the necessary classroom, office, and event space the University needed in D.C.
The Greenberg House Records comprise twelve large scrapbooks primarily containing newspaper clippings and article printouts relating to Syracuse University events and alumni, especially but not exclusively those connected to D.C.
Please note that the collection is housed off-site, and advance notice is required to allow time to have the materials brought to the Reading Room on campus.
