The National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women's Clubs (NANBPWC) is a national group founded in 1935. It aims to protect the interests of African-American business and professional women, as well as to advise young people, work with communities, and promote fellowship. Associated college-level groups are called Beta Psi Clubs. The NANBPWC Beta Psi chapter at Syracuse University is a member of the NANBPWC Northeast District Youth Division.
The collection comprises mostly financial records for the Syracuse University NANBPWC Beta Psi Club. Budgets, invoices that document club events, and financial reports number among the records. Additionally, there are some clippings, fundraiser and event programs, raffle tickets, and notes.
Please note that the collection is housed off-site, and advance notice is required to allow time to have the materials brought to the Reading Room on campus.
