Phi Delta Kappa is a professional society for educators. At Syracuse University, the Alpha Phi Chapter of Phi Delta Kappa was involved with the School of Education for many years but is no longer active. It is unclear when the chapter went inactive but the Archives has clippings of the organization up until 1976.
The collection spans from 1936 to 1941 and includes the chapter's newsletter Alpha Phi Quarterly, an installation program and an initiation program.
Please note that the collection is housed off-site, and advance notice is required to allow time to have the materials brought to the Reading Room on campus.
Written permission must be obtained from the Syracuse University Archives and all relevant rights holders before publishing quotations, excerpts or images from any materials in this collection.
