Student Centers and Programming Services manages the two student centers on the Syracuse University campus, Goldstein Student Center and Schine Student Center. The office also supports room reservations and events held on campus by recognized student organizations, recognized fraternities and sororities, academic units, and other administrative departments and offices.
The Syracuse University Student Centers and Programming Services Records consists of photographic color slides used in a variety of presentations held at Syracuse University in the 1970s and 1980s. Some of the slides were used during student orientation and depict photographs and information related to student services and campus locations. Some of the locations represented in the slides are: Light Work, an on-campus photography center; WAER, Syracuse University's radio station; and the campus bookstore. The collection also includes the script and slides for a presentation given by Renée Schine Crown about the construction of the Schine Student Center.
Please note that the collection is housed off-site, and advance notice is required to allow time to have the materials brought to the Reading Room on campus.
Written permission must be obtained from the Syracuse University Archives and all relevant rights holders before publishing quotations, excerpts or images from any materials in this collection.
