Joseph Slezak (1938-2021) attended Syracuse University from 1956 to 1960 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. At Syracuse University, he was a member of the intramural bowling team and the American Marketing Association. He joined the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) and served in both active and reserve duty for eight years postgraduation.
The Joseph Slezak Papers contain correspondence, booklets, and other materials related to Slezak's time as a student at Syracuse University. This includes academic, new student, Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC), and commencement materials, as well as football tickets, a career services handbook, and a fraternity rush booklet.
Please note that the collection is housed off-site, and advance notice is required to allow time to have the materials brought to the Reading Room on campus.

Course bulletins from 1954 to 1960 were removed and placed in the following collections: Syracuse University College of Engineering and Computer Science Records, Syracuse University Graduate School Records, Syracuse University College of Arts and Sciences, Syracuse University School of Speech and Dramatic Art Records, Syracuse University Office of the Registrar Records, and Whitman School of Management Records. Additionally, a November 1956 copy of The Syracusan was moved to the Syracuse University Student Publications Collection.
