Dwight G . and Robert B. R. Stone were brothers who attended Syracuse University from 1900 to 1907. Robert (1879-1963) graduated in 1905 and Dwight graduated in 1907. Both were members of the Syracuse chapter of Beta Theta Pi and were on the varsity crew team. Dwight was a member of the First Varsity Four-Oared which achieved a world record time of 10 minutes, 15 seconds in 1907.
The Dwight G. and Robert B. R. Stone Papers consist of materials related to their time at Syracuse University. Included in the collection are programs, pamphlets, and photocopies of photographs from social events, regattas, and University and Beta Theta Pi publications. These materials document student life from 1904 to 1907.
