William S. Paley was President of CBS.


Scope and Contents of the Collection

4 letters (3 incoming, 1 outgoing) supporting CBS' allotment of 15 minutes of airtime to Communist Presidential candidate Earl Browder in early 1936. Letters are from Elmer Rice (playwright), Arthur Garfield Hays (lawyer), and Charles Edison (of Thomas A. Edison Inc.)
