Michael Toole is a Syracuse University alumnus. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in broadcast journalism in 1990. He was a roommate and friend of Jason Coker, one of the victims of the bombing of Pan Am flight 103.
The Michael Toole Papers contains three series of materials dating from 1986 to 1990 related to Toole's friendship with Eric and Jason Coker and the Pan Am flight 103 bombing.
The Audiovisual series comprises a Pink Floyd cassette tape that was gifted to Toole by Jason Coker.
The Papers series contains newspaper clippings, printed materials, and correspondence related to the bombing of Pan Am flight 103 and the Coker twins. There is also a copy of an article Toole wrote in memory of Jason Coker, Eric Coker, and Gary Colasanti.
The Photographs series contains photographs of the Cokers, primarily Jason; Lockerbie, Scotland; and Syracuse University's Place of Remembrance.
