George Bain (b. 1950) G’06 attended the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University from 2004 to 2006, where he received a Master of Arts in Public Administration. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Bain received a Bachelor of Arts in American History from Union College in 1973. After graduating, he worked as a freelance writer and editor for newspapers in Syracuse, Baltimore, and Northampton for over 30 years. Bain is a member of the Syracuse University Library Associates.
The George Bain Papers include materials related to the Master of Art in Public Administration program at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. The papers include orientation materials provided to new students and Bain’s course materials created during his time in the program.
Please note that the collection is housed off-site, and advance notice is required to allow time to have the materials brought to the Reading Room on campus.
