In 1976 Syracuse University established the School of Computer and Information Science. Its first dean was Warren L. Semon. In 1992, the College of Engineering merged with the School of Computer and Information Science to form the College of Engineering and Computer Science.
The Syracuse University School of Computer and Information Science Records comprise various materials which document the history of the School. The records include office files, printed materials, and bulletins.
