Jane Fagan (1921-2000), later Jane Chester, was a nurse and Syracuse University alumna. She was born in Lusk, Wyoming, and graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in nursing in 1942.
The Jane Fagan Memorabilia contains materials related to Fagan’s graduation from Syracuse University’s School of Nursing in 1942. These include a navy blue wool cape, customarily worn by nursing school students at their graduation ceremonies, as well as photographs of Fagan, her classmates, and the 1942 commencement ceremony in Archbold Stadium.

Processing Information
Cape was housed in archival tissue paper and photographs were placed in Mylar enclosures. All materials were housed in an acid-free box.
