Hazel Anna B. Hack was a student who graduated from Syracuse University in 1912 with a Bachelor of Philosophy. She was born and grew up in Newark, New York. After graduating from Syracuse, Hack taught science in Freeport, New York for thirty-five years.
The collection consists of Hack’s scrapbook, filled with materials from her time at Syracuse University. Included are dance cards; programs for plays, musical and sporting events; correspondence; invitations; advertisements; and clippings. She also included the materials from her commencement ceremony in 1912.
In the collection can be found the scrapbook and one additional folder of material that was inserted loosely between the scrapbook pages.
Please note that the collection is housed off-site, and advance notice is required to allow time to have the materials brought to the Reading Room on campus.
