Margaret Morton Sherrard (d. 1920) attended Syracuse University from 1909 to 1912, where she majored in history. She was from Crozet, Virginia. While at Syracuse University she was a member of the Southern Club, an organization for students from the southern states.
This collection consists of 73 photographs and 3 photographic postcards. Many of the photographs are mounted on black cardstock and may have been part of a scrapbook or photo album. Some of the photographs are from Sherrard’s time at Syracuse University. Many images are of friends or family, and a few of them show trips taken by Sherrard. Most of the photographs have captions included either on or near them. Two postcards were sent by Sherrard to family members, and one was sent to Sherrard by either a friend or family member.
