William Creveling Trumbower (1887-1973) attended Syracuse University from 1908 to 1912. He did not graduate from the University, but while on campus he was the manager and an active member of the fencing team. Trumbower served as a captain in the United States Army.
The William Creveling Trumbower Photographs contain photographs of Syracuse University buildings and events from 1908 to 1911. These pictures are mainly architectural in nature, with subjects including Archbold Stadium, Sims Hall, and the Carnegie Library reading room. There are also a photograph and a photographic postcard from a student circus held on campus in 1910.
