Carl Wuermer (1900-1981) was a German-American painter best known for his landscape, figure, and portrait paintings. Born in Munich, Germany, he emigrated to the United States where he attended the Art Students League of New York and the Art Institute of Chicago. He lived and worked in Chicago, Woodstock, and New York.
The Carl Wuermer Scrapbook consists of a single volume, a scrapbook of his paintings, awards, clippings, and related letters covering the years 1928-1976.
