Here we see a stainless steel pull handle which activates an emergency shower in labs. Although part of plumbing this is a special piece of equipment. The emergency shower does not have a floor drain as it will only be used in emergencies and an unused floor drain will evaporate its trap fluid allowing gases to enter the lab atmosphere.
