Scope and Contents of the Collection

The Grant Speeer Papers documents a trip to "the holy land" and Egypt shortly before the outbreak of World War I. There are a few recognizable sites in the photographs such as the Great Sphinx, and a few that could be Baalbek in Lebanon.
