The General Requirements also include site security and safety, protection of construction materials, assemblies, finishes, equipment, adjacent property, et al. This must be performed by the General Contractor or Project Manager and enforced and maintained in place until the building is finally accepted by the Owner for occupancy.  Primary is the protection of human life in the dangerous environment of a construction site. The image (3) shows required hard hat and safety glasses, which must be worn while within the construction site, and replaced as required per New York State Law and OSHA regulations.
