image 5: Temporary protection.

Image 5 shows temporary caps (orange) over electrical conduit and tape over underground CI piping to prevent foreign material and/or debris from entering the incomplete plumbing and electrical circuit conduit.

image 6: Temporary protection.

Image 6 shows underground piping being installed and protected prior to testing and backfill. The orange caps are also used to call attention to a tripping hazard and to blunt the ends of sharp protrusions as shown on reinforcing bars both in the vertical and horizontal attitude.
