The image shows an electric closet containing a secondary step down transformer which reduces current to levels usable by branch circuits. Note the large conduit containing cable feeds which substantially reduce the resistance and allow for distribution to electric closets throughout the building. Also in this image is the vertical distribution busway which can be seen to the right center of the picture.
