The second floor is now in place and permanent diagonal or lateral bracing has been erected on the column bays below. Critical to all steel erection is an experienced crane operator who is the most important person on the job during steel erection. Note the steel composite deck is being installed as well as safety cable railings at the periphery and at all openings to floors below.
