Gypsum board assemblies are considered part of this division along with, but not limited to: ceramic tile, terrazzo, acoustic ceilings, stucco, resilient flooring, special wall coatings, carpet, and painting.

Image 1 shows typical taping and compounding of gypsum board at a embedded control joint located in the atrium space.

Image 2 shows another view of this procedure. Note that the finished taping and compounding starts at the top of the atrium and work continues down to the floor level. The large patched area to the right of the taper is where a scaffold hole was left in the wall.
