These images, 3 & 4, show taping and compounding at the large atrium space. Note the use of movable scaffolding and hydraulic ladders which allow for this construction procedure to be carried out with the minimal of interruption to other trades.

The use, in recent years, of the small hydraulic ladder platform scaffold has been a direct response, by the construction industry, to the design of more atrium spaces of varying heights. Taping and compounding, usually three coats, is accomplished after the main stationary scaffolds have been removed from the atrium space.
