Change Is a Function of Existence

This book is bound in an accordion structure that unfolds to 14 feet.
The sheet music is hand painted with acrylic medium, and the text is printed
with a laser printer. The sheets are further painted with textural acrylic
and embellished with leafing. Architectural cuts and folds emphasize transient
thoughts and reflections during a one-year period. Origami folded embellishments
are on the front cover, and there are decorative toggle closures. Bound
in 2006.
Beverly B. Hettig has lived the majority of her life in the Rochester,
NY area and has been making artist's books for over ten years. She studied
at Munson Williams Proctor Art Institute, The Instituto Allende, Visual
Studies Workshop, and Empire State College. Her work has been exhibited
throughout the United States.
