Latine Heritage Month 2025

September is Latine Heritage Month, and the Syracuse University Libraries is pleased to be a part of this year’s campus celebration. We have a display featuring some of our many libraries’ resources, from books to databases. Stop by the first floor of Bird Library and look at our selection of thematic titles available for immediate circulation from September 18-October 14, 2025. We have also prepared this online Latine Heritage Month research guide, organized by topic to help you learn more about Latine heritage and culture and explore very important issues like immigrant experiences, undocumented stories and displacement and migration.
This year's display was curated by Michelle Mitchell, Reference and Instruction Librarian, and Alexander Schulz, IL Scholar, in collaboration with Syracuse University's Intercultural Collective department.
