Go from concept to commercialization at bootcamp this fall

The CNY Biotech Accelerator is proud to announce the 2nd Annual Concept to Commercialization Boot Camp. This educational resource program for innovators, researchers and entrepreneurs was established through the CNY Biotech Accelerator, NextCorps (formerly High Tech Rochester) and the Science+Technology Law Center at Syracuse University, and is supported by innovation ecosystem partners including the Blackstone LaunchPad at Syracuse University. The intent of the Boot Camp is to build networks for innovative and technology-driven product and service development and commercialization, particularly in the sectors of biotech and medtech.
All workshops will be held at the CNY Biotech Accelerator, 841 E. Fayette St., Syracuse, NY. Over 48 speakers have been confirmed as presenters and panel members. Thanks to a grant from Empire State Development, registration to attend is waived for university faculty and students.
The four-day bootcamp will be delivered in two workshop sessions:
Workshop 1: September 13-14
Topics include: product design and development, market landscape, making the go/no go decision, advisory boards, innovation steps, LLCs, IP, startup finance, team development, developing a business plan
Workshop 2: October 18-19
Topics include: product development and testing, risk management, student capstone design assistance, exports, industry collaboration, biotech startups panel discussion, university entrepreneur programs, developing a pitch presentation, incubator programs
Advance registration is required and you must register separately for each workshop. There is a fee for non-university participants.
