Libraries Announce Spring 2026 Drop-In Sessions: “Take a Break at Bird”
Syracuse University Libraries is hosting weekly drop-in sessions on Tuesdays from 2 – 4 pm on the first floor of Bird Library for the Spring 2026 semester. All events are free and open to attend for all Syracuse University and SUNY-ESF students, faculty and staff. Students especially are encouraged to take a break, relax and build community by dropping-in. The drop-in sessions are a result of student input on activities they’d like to see offered at the Libraries.
- Jan. 20: Explore collection of old and new board games.
- Jan. 27: Unwind with a yarn or thread project.
- Feb. 3: Bring your own book club with loves, hates, genres, tropes and more.
- Feb. 10: Stop by for a Valentine’s-themed craft project.
- Feb. 17: Explore collection of old and new board games.
- Feb. 24: Unwind with a yarn or thread project.
- Mar. 3: Bring your own book club with loves, hates, genres, tropes and more.
- Mar. 17: Stop by for a Beat Pets/Lucky Charm craft project.
- Mar. 24: Explore collection of old and new board games.
- Mar. 31: Unwind with a yarn or thread project.
- Apr. 7: Bring your own book club with loves, hates, genres, tropes and more.
- Apr. 14: Stop by for a junk journaling craft project.
- Apr. 21: Explore collection of old and new board games.
- Apr. 28: Unwind with a yarn or thread project.
